Web application development

Custom web applications your team and customers actually use

We design and build custom web applications in Next.js and React: customer portals, internal tools, dashboards, booking and ordering systems and marketplace back-offices — from the database to deployment, with the code in your repository.

Outcomes

What changes for you

  • Replace spreadsheets and manual steps with one system
  • A fast, secure app your team can use on any device
  • Code and data you own, documented for the next developer

Built for: Companies replacing spreadsheets or off-the-shelf tools that no longer fit, and agencies that need a build partner.

What we deliver

  • Customer portals and self-service dashboards
  • iOS and Android apps — cross-platform by default, native when needed
  • Internal tools and admin panels
  • Booking, ordering and quoting systems
  • Integrations with payments, CRMs and marketplaces
  • User roles, permissions and audit logs
  • Hosting, monitoring and handover documentation

Commercial model: Fixed price per milestone, from $990.

Web application development

What each part involves

Discovery and specification

Before quoting we map users, roles, screens and integrations into a short written spec. It becomes the checklist behind the fixed price, so both sides know what “done” means.

Interface and UX

Clean, responsive interfaces built with Tailwind CSS, or your existing Figma designs implemented as they are. Every screen works on phone, tablet and desktop.

Back end and database

Node.js APIs on PostgreSQL with Prisma: validated input, role-based access, audit trails where they matter and database migrations kept in the repository.

Integrations

Payments, CRMs, marketplaces and email providers connected through their official APIs, with retries and logging so an outage on their side does not lose your data.

Speed and SEO

Server rendering and static generation keep pages fast. Public pages ship with metadata and structured data, and Core Web Vitals are checked before launch.

Launch and handover

Deployment to Vercel, AWS or your own server, monitoring, 24/7 on-call support if you need it, and documentation written so another developer can continue without us.

Technology we use

  • Next.js
  • React
  • TypeScript
  • Node.js
  • PostgreSQL
  • Prisma
  • Tailwind CSS
  • Redis
  • Vercel
  • AWS

Example use cases

  • Customer portal: clients log in to see orders, invoices and documents instead of emailing your team for them.
  • Operations dashboard: stock, orders and returns from several sales channels in one screen, updated in real time.
  • Booking or quoting tool: customers configure a request online and your team receives a structured job instead of a phone call.

When we are not the right choice

  • You need a fixed price before the requirements are written down. We quote from a spec, not a one-line brief.
  • A template website or an off-the-shelf tool already covers your need. We will tell you so before quoting.
  • You want every feature built before a single user tries the product. We push for a smaller first release.

Process

How an engagement runs

  1. 01

    Discovery

A short call and a written spec: users, roles, screens and integrations.

  2. 02

    Fixed quote

Price and milestones in writing, based on that spec. Changes are quoted separately.

  3. 03

    Build

Two-week milestones on a staging URL you can click through and test.

  4. 04

    Launch

Production deploy, monitoring and documentation. Then iterate from real usage.

FAQ

Frequently asked questions

How much does a custom web application cost?

Fixed-scope builds start from $990. The price depends mainly on the number of user roles, screens and integrations; you get a written quote after a short discovery call. Ongoing work by a dedicated engineer is $25–$50 per hour.

Web app or mobile app?

For most business tools a responsive web app is faster and cheaper: one codebase that works on phone, tablet and desktop, with no app-store review. When you need a native iOS or Android app, we build that too.

Can you connect it to the systems we already use?

Yes, if they offer an API. We have integrated marketplaces, payment providers, supplier APIs and WordPress, and connect CRMs the same way — with retries and error logging so data is not silently lost.

Who owns the application?

You do. The code lives in your repository from the first commit, and hosting and third-party accounts are opened in your name.
